Va. Tech FB Allen Waived

The New York Jets have waived fullback Jesse Allen. The announcement was made by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Allen was originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 12. He played three seasons as a fullback at Virginia Tech, scoring two receiving touchdowns among his 10 career receptions.
