The New York Jets have signed two more players — wide receiver S.J. Green and defensive back Bo Smith — to reserve/future contracts. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
The Jets on Thursday announced the signing of four players to reserve/future contracts: LB Ezra Butler, P T.J. Conley, LB Joshua Mauga and WR Larry Taylor.
Green (6'3", 220) has played the past three seasons with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL, catching 26 passes for 353 yards and three touchdowns. In his career at the University of South Florida, he recorded 63 receptions and four touchdowns.
Smith (6'0", 190) has played the past two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL, recording 48 tackles and two interceptions. He had 44 tackles and two interceptions in one season at Weber State in 2006, earning All-Big Sky Conference first-team honors, after transferring from Kentucky.
