The New York Jets announced Tuesday that rookie punter Ben Graham, an exclusive rights free agent, has agreed to a contract extension with the Club. Terms and length of the agreement were undisclosed. The announcement was made by Jets' Executive Vice President and General Manager Terry Bradway.
Graham, 32, is a former Australian Rules Football star, who signed with the Jets as a free agent last off-season and went on to post the second-highest net punting average in team history (37.9) this past season. He recorded 74 punts for 3,233 yards for a 43.7 gross punting average had 18 punts downed inside the 20. Additionally, Graham served as the holder for kicker Mike Nugent.
