Options for Following Jets-Lions Tonight

Fans who want to watch tonight's Jets-Lions preseason opener from Detroit can tune in to the game broadcast on WCBS-TV, Channel 2, in New York. However, Jets fans who receive their cable television as Time Warner subscribers will have a problem because CBS programming is not currently available to Time Warner customers.

Yet all is not lost. Jets fans without access to WCBS either in the New York market or outside it still have options for following the Jets' game either in real time or later this weekend.

Fans can listen to the game live on ESPN New York FM 98.7, with Bob Wischusen and Marty Lyons, beginning their 12th season together in the booth, calling the game.

The Jets-Lions game will also be available via delayed broadcasts on SNY. SNY is scheduled to air the game twice on Saturday, the first time beginning at 1:30 a.m. ET, and the second with kickoff set for 4 p.m.

NewYorkJets.com will also give fans ways to experience the game. Editor-in-chief Randy Lange and Team Insider Eric Allen are both at the game and live in-game tweets will be posted at twitter.com/rlangejets, twitter.com/eallen and twitter.com/nyjets.

And fans can come back to newyorkjets.com for video recap/highlights and stories after the game and throughout the weekend.
