Marcus Williams was holding out hope that his knee would come around this weekend and on into this morning's pregame warmups. But it didn't to head coach Todd Bowles' satisfaction, so Williams will join fellow CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) on the sidelines as two of the Jets' inactives for the game against the Giants this afternoon at MetLife Stadium.

S Dion Bailey (ankle) also will sit out his fourth game.

Bowles and coordinator Kacy Rodgers have announced that nickel CB Buster Skrine will get the start at the position started the past two weeks by Revis and then Williams. But they've prepped Darrin Walls, Dexter McDougle and Dee Milliner also to be ready to play opposite Antonio Cromartie and battle the Giants offense and the potent passing combination of QB Eli Manning to WR Odell Beckham.

The Jets' full list of inactives:

■ QB Bryce Petty

■ CB Marcus Williams

■ CB Darrelle Revis

■ S Dion Bailey

■ G Dakota Dozier

■ T Ben Ijalana

■ LB Josh Martin

The Giants' inactives:

■ WR Geremy Davis

■ S Brandon Meriweather

■ LB Devon Kennard

■ T Emmett Clearly

■ T Marshall Newhouse

■ TE Larry Donnell

■ DE George Selvie

The Jets are wearing white jerseys and green pants for today's game against the Giants in their home blue jerseys and white pants.

John Hussey is today's referee. This is Hussey's first year as an NFL ref and his third Jets game as ref, following the preseason opener at Detroit and the Game 2 win at Indianapolis.
