The Jets have signed long snapper Zach Triner to a reserve/future contract.
Triner (6'3", 245) was a snapper and defensive lineman out of Marshfield, MA, for Assumption College, the NCAA Division II school in Worcester, MA. He played there from 2012-14 after starting out his college career as a scholarship lacrosse player at Siena.
Triner reportedly was invited to snap for the Patriots following the 2015 draft and had a tryout this spring for the Texans and workouts with the Jets and the Jaguars.
