The New York Jets have signed free agent kicker Clint Stitser. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Stitser (6'1", 200) played four seasons at Fresno State (2004-2007), where he scored 223 points on 37 of 52 field goals (71.2 percent) and 112 of 118 extra point attempts. Stitser was out of football in 2008 and 2009.
