Miller lays out RB Ahman Green

The New York Jets have placed CB/KR Justin Miller on injured reserve and released OL Jason Capizzi from the practice squad. The announcements were made by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Miller (5'10", 196) appeared in both games this season, recording two tackles and two kickoff returns for 48 yards.

A second-round selection (57th overall) out of Clemson in the 2005 NFL Draft, Miller was the Jets' lone Pro Bowl representative last season after returning 46 kickoffs for 1,304 yards and two touchdowns. He holds the Jets' all-time record with three kickoff-return touchdowns and is third on the franchise's all-time list for kickoff-return yardage with 2,929 yards.
