Jets Waive LB George

The New York Jets have waived linebacker Tearrius George. The announcement was made today by Jets' General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.

George, 6-4, 250, was a two-year letterman at defensive end for the Kansas State Wildcats after transferring from Los Angeles Valley Community College. The native of Spring Lake, NC totaled 48 tackles, 12 tackles for losses and seven sacks while at Kansas State.
