The Jets have waived fullback Julian Howsare.

Howsare came to the Jets as an undrafted free agent following the 2015 draft as a linebacker from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He was converted to FB, saw action in the preseason, then spent 12 weeks on the Jets' practice squad.

This year Howsare survived the final cutdown and served as the only fullback on the roster. He was in for three offensive plays and 30 special teams plays in the Jets' first two games this season.
