
The Jets have signed K Cade York.
York (6-1, 206) was a fourth-round selection of the Cleveland Browns at the 2022 NFL Draft and appeared in 17 games for the team during his rookie season.
In 2023, he spent time on the Titans' practice squad and with the Giants but did not appear in games with either organization. After returning to the Browns, York was traded to the Commanders ahead of the 2024 season and appeared in 1 game with the team. During the remainder of the 2024 season, York appeared in 5 games with the Cincinnati Bengals and tied the franchise record for longest FG with a 59-yard kick against the Browns. York spent part of the 2025 season on the Saints' practice squad.
York had a standout career at LSU, where he was a member of the 2019 national championship team. During three collegiate seasons, he converted 81.8% of his FG attempts and 97.6% of his extra point attempts.
