
The Jets have signed edge Kingsley "JJ" Enagbare.
Enagbare (6-4, 258) played in 17 games (7 starts) for the Packers last season and set career highs with 4.5 sacks and 39 tackles. The third-year pro, a fifth-round pick (No. 179 overall) out of South Carolina in 2022, played in 51 games (18 starts) with Green Bay from 2022-24, totaling 107 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 4 PDs, 3 FF and 1 FR. His first career sack came during a 27-10 loss to the Jets on Oct. 16, 2022.
Over his four seasons in Green Bay, Enagbare appeared in 1,896 defensive snaps and 614 on special teams. He was on the field for 42% (468) of the Packers' defensive plays and 36% (150) of Green Bay's special teams plays in 2025-26.
Enagbare played in 44 games at South Carolina and registered 15 sacks, 19 QB hurries and 24 TFL. A first-team All-Southeastern Conference and third-team All-America selection by ProFootballFocus in 2021, Enagbare was a team captain his senior campaign when he collected 44 tackles and team highs of 4.5 sacks and 7 TFL. Engagbare, an Atlanta, GA native who graduated with a degree in retail management, had 121 tackles (73 solos) from 2018-21 for the Gamecocks.
