
The Jets have signed CB Nahshon Wright.
A third-round selection of the Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft, Wright (6-4, 199) spent three seasons with Dallas before he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings in August 2024. After spending the season on the practice squad and making 1 game appearance, Wright signed with the Chicago Bears ahead of the 2025 season.
In Chicago, Wright appeared in all 17 games (16 starts), recorded 11 PDs, 5 INTs, 2 FFs and 3 FR. His 8 total takeaways were the most of any player in the NFL last season. Wright earned NFC Defensive Player of Month honors for November after generating 5 takeaways in 5 games, and he went to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career. An Oregon State product, Wright registered 64 total tackles, 6 PDs and 5 INTs during his two collegiate seasons.
