The Jets have signed four exclusive rights free agents — LB B.J. Bello, K Sam Ficken, OL Leo Koloamatangi and LB Frankie Luvu.

Bello signed with the Jets Oct. 30 and played in eight games, emerging as a special teams stalwart for Brant Boyer's unit. The third-year pro finished fourth on the team with nine stops on special teams and returned a block punt 14 yards for a touchdown against the Ravens in Week 15. The 6'3", 229-pounder first signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State before stints with the Cardinals (2018 PS), Eagles (2018 active roster), Texans (2019 final cut) and Packers (2019 PS). The 24-year-old Bello has totaled 13 tackles in 27 games.

The Jets signed Ficken Sept. 10 after waiving K Kaare Vedvik. The Penn State product kicked in 15 games for the Green & White, connecting on 70.4% of his field goals (19 of 27), including a career-long 54-yarder in Week 16 against the Steelers and a game-winning boot in Week 14 against the Dolphins. He also converted 88.5% of his extra points (23 of 26). The second-year pro also kicked in four games with the Rams (2017, '18) and spent time with the Jaguars (2016), Chiefs (2017), Seahawks (2019) and Packers ('19).

Koloamatangi was signed to the Jets practice squad Oct. 30 this past season and was promoted to the active roster Nov. 16 but didn't appear in any games. The Hawaii product signed with the Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2017 and has been a final cut each year since entering the league. The 6'4", 310-pounder bounced on and off Detroit's practice squad before joining the Green & White.

Luvu has spent his three-year career on and off the Jets' roster. The 6'3" 236-pounder was waived after this past training camp and signed to the practice squad Oct. 16 before he was promoted to the active roster Nov. 1. The Washington State product played in 13 games, totaling 6 tackles and 1 sack. He also led the team with 14 special teams tackles. The 23-year-old Luvu has totaled 22 tackles and 4 sacks in 34 games.
