The New York Jets announced Saturday that they have promoted LBs Victor Ochi and Julian Stanford to the active roster. The club also placed LB Erin Henderson on the Reserve - Non Football Injury/Illness list (undisclosed) and placed TE Braedon Bowman on injured reserve (torn ACL in right knee).

The 6'1", 230-pound Stanford has played three games with the Jets this season. He led the Green & White with 18 defensive tackles in preseason action with one sack and he added a pair of special teams tackles. A Wagner product, Stanford originally joined the Jets practice squad last December.

Ochi, a Valley Stream, NY native who established a school record with 32.5 sacks and added 49 tackles for loss at Stony Brook, originally signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. During preseason action with the Ravens, Ochi racked up two sacks.

Henderson, who led the Jets in tackles the past two weeks with 11 at Pittsburgh and 7 at Arizona, has made four starts this season and collected 23 stops.

Claimed off waivers from Jacksonville on Sep. 4, Bowman spent time on the Jets' active roster and practice squad. The rookie, who appeared in three games, had 29 catches for 381 yards at South Alabama in 2014-15.
