Williams (5-11, 230) sustained a shoulder injury during the second quarter of Sunday's 29-27 loss to Tampa Bay. The five-year member of the Jets has started all three games for the Green & White this season, playing every defensive snap in Weeks 1 and 2. Williams has totaled 15 tackles, 3 quarterback hits, 2 TFLs and 1.5 sacks in 2025.
McCrary-Ball (6-0, 214) sustained a hamstring injury during Sunday's contest but did not leave the game. The team captain has been a large contributor on special teams, playing 75 snaps this season. He has also played 77 defensive snaps. McCrary-Ball has totaled 17 tackles across 3 games in 2025.
Robinson (5-11, 235), a fourth-year veteran from Mississippi, was a member of the Patriots' practice squad who was elevated for all three games this season and recorded 3 special teams tackles. A seventh-round pick (No. 225 overall) of the Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft, Robinson, an Ole Miss product, has appeared in 41 games (4 starts) and recorded 48 tackles. Robinson was on the field for 67% (302 plays) and 66% (301 plays) of Pittsburgh's special teams snaps in 2023-24. In New England this season, he participated in 50% (37 plays) of the plays on special teams.
Niemann (6-2, 235) joined the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2018. The Iowa product appeared in 62 regular season games and 12 postseason contests across 4 seasons for the Chiefs, including the team's Super Bowl victory during the 2019-20 season. Niemann spent the 2022 season with the Arizona Cardinals and the 2023 season with the Denver Broncos before joining the Detroit Lions for the 2024 season. The seven-year veteran has appeared in 103 games and recorded 264 total tackles, 8 TFLs and 2 sacks during his pro career.
Fornadel (6-4, 312) was signed by the Jets in July and appeared in all three preseason games for the Green & White before he was waived in August. He was added to the practice squad on Sept. 8. The James Madison product previously spent time with the DC Defenders of the UFL and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. Fornadel had a stint with the Patriots in 2024 and spent most of last season on their practice squad before he was released in December.
