The Jets have elevated CB Korie Black from the practice squad for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Black (6-0, 192) was a seventh-round pick (No. 246 overall) of the Giants in last April's NFL Draft. He played 62 games at Oklahoma State, recording 100 tackles, 25 PD, 4 INT, 3 FR and 2 FF. As a super senior in 2024, Black totaled 36 tackles, 12 PDs and 3 INT.
In preseason play, Black, a Kansas City, KS, native, had 2 defensive tackles and 1 special teams stop. He made the Giants initial 53-man roster but was waived and joined the Jets on Aug. 29.
