The Jets announced they have acquired CB Nick Marshall off of Jacksonville's practice squad.

Marshall appeared in 13 games last season, including one start in Week 17 against the Texans. The Auburn product signed with the Jaguars after going undrafted in 2015, totaling nine tackles and one PD.

He was also used on special teams on returns and in coverage. As the Jaguars' main kickoff returner, he averaged 26.6 yards per return.

The 6'1", 206-pounder started at QB for Auburn in 2013-2014, winning the SEC Championship in his final season, and announced the week of the draft he would transition to the defensive side of the ball in the NFL.
