WR Riley Signed to Active Roster

The New York Jets have signed wide receiver Eron Riley to the active roster from Denver's practice squad. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Riley (6'3", 210) was in training camp with the Broncos this season prior to being added to their practice squad Sept. 4. He caught three passes for 144 yards, including an 89-yard touchdown, in Denver's preseason finale at Arizona.

Riley entered the NFL in 2009 as an undrafted free agent with Baltimore, spending time on both the Ravens and Panthers practice squads. He finished his career at Duke having played in 45 games (40 starts) with 144 receptions, 2,413 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns.
