QB Justin Fields Will Make Seventh Start for Green & White

The Jets have downgraded QB Tyrod Taylor and WR Josh Reynolds to out for Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. Taylor (6-1, 217) was limited at practice this week due to a knee ailment. Reynolds (6-3, 192) did not practice on Friday due to a hip injury.

The 15-year veteran, Taylor, relieved Justin Fields in the second half of the Jets' 13-6 loss to Carolina last Sunday, throwing for 126 yards and 2 INTs. Taylor started for an injured Fields (concussion) in a 29-27 Week 3 loss at Tampa Bay and hit on 26-of-36 passes for 197 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. He also rushed for 48 yards. In five appearances with the Jets over two seasons, Taylor has completed 64.9% of his passes, and he has thrown 6 TDs and 3 INTs.

Fields, who has totaled 7 TDs with 0 INTs and leads NFL QBs with 257 rush yards, will make his seventh start of the season in Cincinnati.

Reynolds has appeared in 5 games and started 3 for the Green & White this season. The nine-year veteran has recorded 11 receptions for 101 yards in 2025, and he led the Jets in receiving yards (25) in Week 6.
