Excerpt of an interview with Jets WR Wallace Wright following Tuesday's afternoon training camp practice:

WR WALLACE WRIGHT

On what contribution he will make to the team…

I'm just trying to do whatever I can to help the team win. Whatever they ask me to do, special teams, receiver, the best I can do.

On whether his work on special teams will make or break him…

To be honest I'm not a starter. If you are not going to start, you have to play special teams. I'm just happy to be a part of the team. That's always been my ticket anyway, so hopefully it will continue to be my ticket. I have fun doing it, I like hitting people, so that's what I do.

On the advantage gained from playing last year …

I feel like I have a tremendous edge because I was activated last year. I know what to expect, and you just have to go out there and have fun and let it all hang out on the field.
