Two weeks remain before the official commencement of Capital One Bank Jets Training Camp. And as the summer start nears, newyorkjets.com debuts its special training camp section this morning.

Eric Mangini, now in his third season at the helm, won't waste any time as he'll hold two-a-days on both July 24 and July 26, sandwiched around an afternoon workout on the 25th. For the most complete schedule along with Jets Fest and Jets Shop hours, stay logged on to newyorkjets.com for your most up-to-date information.

This promises to be a historic camp as the Jets will hold their final camp at Weeb Ewbank Hall. Shortly after camp concludes, the Jets will move into a state-of-the-art facility in Florham Park, N.J.

For four decades, the Jets have held training camp on the Hofstra University grounds in Hempstead, N.Y. And after perhaps the most aggressive off-season in franchise history, the excitement heading into this final one is at an all-time high.

Ten seasons ago, the Jets nearly staged a Super Bowl season before finally succumbing to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. Forty seasons ago, Joe Namath and an unheralded defense shocked the football world by capturing Super Bowl III with a win over the Baltimore Colts down in Miami. So there is some history with years ending in 8.

One thing is certain - the wild ride is once again upon us. You can start browsing our training camp section now and we urge you to stay with us throughout the season.
