Santonio Holmes Moves from PUP to Active Roster

Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes has been moved from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List to the Active Roster.

Holmes, who suffered a Lisfranc injury to his foot against San Francisco last Sept. 30, has been rehabbing and working with our medical and training staffs to return to action. Head coach Rex Ryan said Wednesday that Tone "seems excited, so I think that's a good sign.

"We're all going to lean on the trainers and doctors, and when they say he's ready to go, he'll be chomping at the bit, I can tell you that right now," Ryan said. "He's excited. I think he's in great shape. Hopefully he can get on the field soon."

We also have released WR Marcus Davis with an injury settlement.
