The Jets announced that Quincy Williams has been selected as the team's Club Winner for the 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award is the league's most prestigious honor, recognizing players who excel on the field and demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact beyond the game.

This year, Williams expanded his influence through creative, inclusive, and practical community projects that align with his values and commitment to change. He invited five children who have fought cancer to serve as honorary captains at the Jets Crucial Catch game. Williams also organized his first football camp at Miles College—a free event that reached over 200 young participants and partnered with Birmingham organizations to provide mentorship and sports training. In addition, Williams teamed up with the American Cancer Society of New Jersey to host a Pilates wellness day for survivors, complete with matcha, gifts, and supportive activities. This winter, Williams has planned two holiday events in Birmingham, including one to benefit his brother Quinnen Williams's "100 Reasons Why" Foundation campaign, which will offer holiday resources to families in need.

"Being nominated for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award is an incredible honor," said Quincy Williams. "I'm grateful to the Jets organization and everyone in the community who has supported me. Giving back and making a difference off the field means just as much to me as playing on Sundays. I hope my work inspires others to help lift up those around them and create lasting change together."

"Quincy represents the very best of what it means to be a New York Jet. His generosity and unwavering commitment to serving others extend far beyond the football field," said New York Jets President, Hymie Elhai. "Whether he's mentoring young athletes, supporting families in need, or standing alongside survivors in their fight, Quincy approaches every effort with the same passion and determination that he brings to the game. We are honored to nominate him for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award and proud to celebrate the impact he continues to make in our community."

Quincy Williams is deeply committed to community service through financial support and hands-on involvement across several states. He consistently aids Alzheimer's Diversity Outreach Services, attends Special Olympics flag football events, and mentors youth with Vision In Progress Youth Mentoring. Each year, he partners with the Salvation Army in Birmingham to help underprivileged families during the holidays. In 2023, Williams promoted literacy at Brookwood Elementary and volunteered to address food insecurity with Blessings in a Backpack at Lambert High School. He also annually collaborates with the American Cancer Society in New Jersey to honor breast cancer survivors.

All 32 club nominees will be recognized for their achievements during the week leading up to Super Bowl LX in the Bay Area. The national winner of the 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award will be announced during NFL Honors, a primetime awards special airing on Thursday, Feb. 5.

The charitable beneficiary of each team's nominee will receive up to $40,000, and the nonprofit chosen by the overall national winner will receive up to $250,000.

Jets fans are once again encouraged to participate in the annual Charity Challenge, a social media and online contest to show support for Quincy Williams. To vote on X/Twitter, post #WPMOYChallenge along with the @quincywilliams_ or directly on NFL.com/ManOfTheYear. The charitable beneficiary of the player who receives the most collective hashtag mentions and online votes will win an additional $35,000 donation with the nonprofit partners of the runner-up and third-place finishers receiving $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. Charity Challenge voting takes place from December 4 through January 5, 2026.

Beginning Week 14 and continuing through the end of the season, each of this year's club winners, including Quincy Williams, will wear a special Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year helmet decal in recognition of their accomplishments on and off the field.
