The New York Jets have signed wide receiver Royce Pollard to the practice squad and released wide receiver Stanley Arukwe from the practice squad. The announcements were made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Pollard (6'1", 175) joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 7 after being invited to rookie minicamp as a tryout player. He was waived Aug. 31, added to the practice squad Sept. 2, and released from the practice squad Sept. 12.
Arukwe (6'0", 180) initially signed with Arizona as an undrafted free agent May 11 before being waived by the Cardinals on Aug. 1. He joined the Jets as a free agent Aug. 7 and spent training camp with the team before being waived Aug. 27 and added to the practice squad Sept. 12.
