Below is a compilation of NFL power rankings. The views expressed are not representative of any Jets personnel.

Yahoo - 9th
"The Jets don't have an overly difficult early season schedule in terms of opponents, but it's not easy. They went from a Monday night game in Week 1 to a road game in Week 2 and get a Thursday night game in Week 3. In Week 5, they'll play in London. The NFL did them no favors and that's why a fairly unimpressive win over the Titans is just fine."

USA Today - 10th
"On the plus side, DE Will McDonald IV had a career-best three sacks, matching the total from his rookie year (2023), in Sunday's win. On the down side, DE Jermaine Johnson is lost to a torn Achilles. Sure seems like time to forge a breakthrough with holdout LB Haason Reddick."

FOX Sports - 12th
"The Jets are one of just four teams that haven't played a home game through two weeks, and they got out of it at a respectable 1-1. Perhaps Sunday's win in Nashville was the game that showed us they have two legitimate options in the backfield, as rookie Braelon Allen looked just as exciting as Breece Hall."

Pro Football Talk - 12th
"They desperately needed a win at Tennessee. But it was closer than it should have been."

NFL.com - 13th
"We haven't seen many gems from Aaron Rodgers in the first two weeks, but there have been enough positives that I feel relatively decent about where the Jets' offense is at. That third drive in Week 1 opened my eyes. Rodgers' 5-for-5 showing on the game-winning drive in Week 2 kept them open. He made a beautiful TD toss to Breece Hall, and the emergence of Braelon Allen has added a dimension to the backfield. The rookie back looks like he deserves weekly touches. The rest of the operation still needs fine-tuning, and the Jets' defense hasn't suddenly been absolved of its Week 1 sins. The loss of Jermaine Johnson II is likely to sting, but getting three sacks from Will McDonald IV was a welcome development. Now, if there was only one more pass-rushing source New York could try to tap into ..."

Bleacher Report - 16th
"The first win of the Aaron Rodgers' era featured a combination of youth and experience. Rodgers is the oldest active player in the league—and when he threw the second of his two touchdown passes in the game to running back Braelon Allen, he connected with the league's youngest active player."

ESPN - 16th
"After barely touching the field in Week 1, the rookie celebrated his breakout Sunday with a rushing and passing touchdown. Breece Hall will continue to get the bulk of the reps, but Allen gives the Jets a formidable 1-2 punch in the backfield. Both players can line up in the backfield at the same time, as they did four times against the Titans -- one of which resulted in Allen's touchdown reception. Allen can reduce Hall's workload and provide insurance if he gets hurt."

Sports Illustrated - 16th
"While depth is not yet a concern, we are starting to see why the Jets wanted to trade for Haason Reddick in the first place. These next two weeks will absolutely demand a strong pass rush in order to avoid a killer of a loss to an inferior opponent. The Patriots and Broncos are both teams the Jets should beat and both teams that are suspect to strong edge rushing. Jacoby Brissett is another QB with one of the longest snap-to-throw times in the NFL. Bo Nix is a rookie. With the Vikings, Bills and Steelers on the other end of that mountain, the Jets need to stack wins when possible."

The Athletic - 16th
"Aaron Rodgers hasn't been great, but he's healthy and he's been good enough so far. Through two weeks, Rodgers is 24th in the league in passing yards (343). His off-target percentage (13.7 percent) is the ninth worst in the league and would stand as the worst in his career if this holds all season. Rookie running back Braelon Allen (20 years, 239 days) became the youngest player of the Super Bowl era to score a touchdown Sunday, and he had two."

CBS Sports - 20th
"They come off their two-game road trip at 1-1 after beating the Titans. The defense made some big plays, but still has flaws. The offense still isn't clicking yet in the passing game."
