Jets Sponsors In for Wild Card Week Ride

The New York Jets today announced an all-star lineup of sponsors of Jets Wild Card Week. With Saturday's game a rematch of last season's AFC Championship Game in Indianapolis, sponsors are integrating into the team's media properties, capturing the eyeballs of millions tuned into the team this week and capitalizing on the playoff excitement with a fan rally on Thursday in New York City.

Pepsi is integrating its Pepsi Max franchise into the Jets social media properties. The soft drink giant and stadium cornerstone partner is the presenting sponsor of the @nyjets Twitter gameday tweets and the Connect with Jets tool, a feature that allows fans to follow all the Jets on Twitter with just one simple click. Users of the tool this week will not only follow the team but will also follow Pepsi Max. In addition, Pepsi Max is the presenting sponsor of Jets Facebook video content for the duration of Wild Card Week.

Hotelplanner.com is the presenting sponsor of the team's newest feature — What's Your Take Playoff Chat – on the Jets' official Facebook page. The chat features a series of trivia and opinion-based questions posed to the team's over 350,000 Facebook fans. The questions, posted in status updates, include links to Hotelplanner.com's Facebook page. Hotelplanner.com is giving away $500 in free hotel rooms every day the Jets are in the postseason.

The team also is hosting a playoff rally on Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. on the plaza outside the SNY Studio on the Plaza at Rockefeller Center West (Sixth Avenue and 51st Street). The rally is presented by Pepsi Max and Hotelplanner.com. The event will feature live performances by the Jets Flight Crew cheerleaders and the band Ready in 10. Jets Playoff Rally towels courtesy of SNY and Toyota will be distributed. Jets alumni and Fireman Ed will be on hand to get the crowd pumped up for the game.

Also, fans can pick up Jets Playoff Rally towels courtesy of SNY and Toyota throughout Manhattan on Thursday. Locations include Penn Station, Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. Jets Wild Card Week media partners include Pepsi, Verizon, MetLife, Toyota, Geico, Ford, NJ Lottery and The Sports Authority.
