The Jets have signed linebacker Stephone Anthony and waived safety Santos Ramirez.

Originally the Saints' 2015 first-round draft pick (No. 31 overall), Anthony played for the Dolphins the past two seasons under Adam Gase and appeared in 24 games. The 6'3", 245-pounder signed with the Falcons in the offseason and was released Aug. 18. For his career, the 28-year-old has totaled 150 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles and one interception.

Ramirez, who originally signed with the Jets in May as an undrafted free agent, played in 45 games in four seasons for Arkansas. In two preseason contests, the 6'2", 204-pounder totaled six tackles.
