The Jets have signed K Sam Ficken and waived K Kaare Vedvik.

Ficken spent the summer with the Packers before he was waived Aug. 31. The Penn State product first signed with the Jaguars in 2016 as an undrafted free agent and spent time with the Chiefs (2017), Rams (2017-18) and Seahawks (2019) before signing with Green Bay. In four career games, the 6'1", 191-pounder connected on three of his six field goal attempts and one of his two extra points.

Vedvik started the summer with the Ravens and was traded to the Vikings before the 6'3", 190-pounder was waived and claimed by the Green & White on Sept. 1. The first-year player appeared in his first regular-season game last Sunday against the Bills and missed both his lone field goal try and extra point attempt.
