Jets Re-Sign LB Josh Mauga

The New York Jets have re-signed linebacker Josh Mauga.

Mauga (6'1", 245/Nevada/Fallon, NV) originally joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent Aug. 17, 2009. He spent time on their practice squad in 2009 and 2010 before being signed to the active roster on Oct. 26, 2010. In three seasons with the Jets, Mauga has played in 29 games and has posted 27 tackles and one interception on defense and 40 tackles on special teams. Last season he appeared in five games before he was placed on injured reserve.
