Sixth-Year ‘Backer Recorded 3.5 Sacks with Green & White in ’17

The Jets have re-signed LB David Bass.

Bass, who joined the Green & White last September, tied for second on the team with 3.5 sacks in 2017. His stat line also included 33 tackles, seven stops for loss and 12 quarterback hits.

The 6'4", 267-pounder entered the league as the Raiders' 2013 seventh-round draft pick and played two seasons in Oakland. The sixth-year veteran has also played with the Titans (2015-16) and the Seahawks (2017). For his career, Bass has played in 64 games (11 starts) and tallied 111 tackles, nine sacks, five pass defenses and two interceptions, one of which resulted in a touchdown.
