The New York Jets received three nominations and broadcast partner SNY was nominated for six awards for its Jets coverage when the 55th annual New York Emmy Awards nominations were announced Thursday.

"Making the team as accessible as possible to our fans is a priority for us," said Bob Parente, Jets senior vice president, business operations. "Receiving nominations for Jets in-house programming and across our family of networks is a great honor and demonstrates not only the reach of our team but the quality of the programming."

The Jets' broadcasting and multimedia production team, headed by senior director Rich Gentile, received their nominations under the Jets Television Network CBS2-HD banner. They were recognized in the category of "Entertainment: Program/Special" for "Jets Flight Crew Calendar," which aired Nov. 27, 2010 on CBS2-HD.
