The New York Jets, Kinect for Xbox 360 and American Heart Association are committed to encouraging children to be active and healthy through Jets Play 60. At the Jets vs. Buffalo Bills game presented by Verizon on November 27th kicking off at 1pm, eleven 6th graders from Florham Park, Madison and Harding, New Jersey will be recognized for their commitment to and involvement in the Jets Play 60 Challenge. In honor of their achievement, the students will lead the players out of the tunnel for introductions and each receive an Xbox 360 console with Kinect. In addition, forty 6th Graders from Summit and Chatham who participated in their own Play 60 Challenge with the American Heart Association have won the opportunity to compete in Play 60 activities on the MetLife Turf Field at the West Plaza, tour the stadium field and attend the game. These forty winners will also receive prizes from Kinect for Xbox 360.

The Jets Play 60 Challenge is a six-week long program created by the NFL and American Heart Association that encourages students to participate in at least 30 minutes of physical activity in school and an additional 30 minutes of physical activity outside of school. This program allows students to track their exercise and progress in fun and engaging ways. The Jets Play 60 Challenge is implemented in schools locally by the American Heart Association with the support of American Dairy Association & Dairy Council, Inc.'s Fuel Up to Play 60 campaign.
