Jets programming received nominations in five different categories for this year's New York Emmy Awards. The nominated programming aired for the first time during the 2008 season, on three networks: WCBS-TV, SportsNet New York, and WPIX.

The nominations include:

Sports Programming: Special — That Super Season with Joe Namath (WCBS-TV).

Sports Programming: Program/Feature Segment — Jets 24/7: Kenyon's Dream (WCBS-TV).

Sports Programming: Regularly Scheduled Program — Jets Nation: Inside Camp (SNY).

Commercial: Single Spot — New Jets Stadium Promo (WCBS-TV).

Promotion: Sports Promo — NFL Epic: The Jets vs. The Patriots (WPIX-TV).

"Receiving five nominations in five different categories is a great honor for our team," said Bob Parente, Jets senior vice president of programming and media production. "It is also important to us that these nominations are across three different networks, demonstrating not only the diversity but the reach of Jets programming."

"Our goal is to produce interesting and uncommon programming to our fans," said Rich Gentile, Jets senior director of production. "These nominations affirm that we are delivering on that promise."

The 53rd annual New York Emmy Awards will be presented on Sunday, April 18, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.
