Second-Year Player Was Drafted by Colts in 2017

The Jets have claimed LB Tarell Basham off of waivers from Indianapolis and waived DL Bronson Kaufusi.

Basham, a 6'4", 256-pounder in his second NFL season, played in 16 games for the Colts in 2017-18. Appearing in 15 games his rookie campaign, the Ohio University product racked up two sacks and seven tackles. A third-round pick of the Colts in 2017, Basham was waived by the Colts Thursday.

Kaufusi was promoted to the 53-man roster on Monday after a stint on the practice squad.
