It Was Ugly, But Perspective Needed

If the Jets have no touchdowns after two regular season games, then they're going to find themselves in big-time trouble.  But Mark Sanchez was right on after Saturday night's disappointing 26-3 MetLife Bowl loss to New York's NFC representative — this is not the time to panic.

The Green & White are now 0-2 on the summer tour and neither contest was aesthetically pleasing.  But all these practices and exhibition contests are about getting ready for the regular season.  Next Sunday's nationally televised game against the Carolina Panthers will tell us a little bit more about the Green & White because the starters will see extended action and the coaches will develop a game plan.

The questions continue to roll in, so I think we'll be best served covering what has you concerned and what has you encouraged in Tuesday's "EA Q&A".

If you missed the first installment of "Jets Replay", we'll run the archive tomorrow as we caught up with LaRon Landry, Aaron Maybin and Demario Davis after the game.  Then on Tuesday, we will broadcast our latest installment of "Jets Talk LIVE" preceding the team's open practice at MetLife Stadium.

By the way, have you followed what the Buffalo Bills have done this preseason?  The Jets' first opponent hasn't looked too sharp either and that's not a knock on Chan Gailey's club.  Both teams have a lot of talent and we are still three weeks out from the regular season opener.

Three Ps are in line here — preseason, process and patience.  Anything is fair game once September rolls around.
