Revis Makes His Debut: After offseason surgery on his right wrist, the Jets took a cautious approach with star CB Darrelle Revis throughout the spring and then early in training camp. But they gradually ramped up Revis' workload and he has become a fixture on the practice field, looking like his old self.  Tonight Redskins backup QB Colt McCoy tried to throw one away in the first quarter, but Revis climbed the ladder and made an INT.  Revis had 9 takeaways last year and this is the just the Jets' second preseason game, but the ball always seems to find the great ones.

Harris a Stat Stuffer: Working with both Erin Henderson and Darron Lee, David Harris finished with 6 tackles, 1 sack and 1 QB hurry. Henderson left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury and did not return.

Australian Boomer: Rookie P Lachlan Edwards, a seventh-round pick from Sam Houston State, was outstanding Friday. He averaged 48.2 yards on his six punts and had a long of 55 with one ball downed inside the 20.

Anderson & Simon Shine: Speedster Robby Anderson, an undrafted free agent from Temple, caught 6 balls for 131 yards. His 50-yard reception on a pass from QB Bryce Petty set up K Ross Martin's 40-yard field goal in the third. Then he high-pointed an accurate long ball from Petty before walking in for a 42-yard TD in the fourth. On the defensive side, DL Deon Simon led the charge on a fourth down hold deep in Jets' territory and later forced an illegal use of hands infraction that led to the visitors' first points — a safety. Simon finished with five tackles.

Notables: While DL Muhammad Wilkerson was ruled out before kickoff,  RB Matt Forte suited up and did not see play…C Nick Mangold was also held out of action and Wesley Johnson made the start at center… Lee got some work with the first team alongside Harris before returning later when Henderson went down with a shoulder injury… WR Quincy Enunwa suffered a head injury on special teams, racing down the field and colliding with Washington return man Jamison Crowder… DL Lawrence Thomas, who got reps with the first-team defense, suffered a shoulder injury and CB Dee Milliner also went out with a biceps injury...  The Jets first touchdown came on a 19-yard Petty pass to TE Zach Sudfeld. It was a brotherly affair here at FedExField as Zach's younger brother, Nate, is a rookie QB for Washington. But Nate got the last laugh with the game-winning TD in the final minute.… Both Sudfeld and fellow TE Kellen Davis lost fumbles and QB Geno Smith was intercepted late in the first half.
