The Jets will be sporting a new look in the new season, and we don't just mean new free agent players and rookie draft picks.
Heading into 2012 and toward the upcoming NFL season, JetsShop.com has many exciting changes in store for fans of the Green & White.
Jets Shop has launched its new e-commerce site, a platform that has a clean and exciting look and will provide a more rewarding shopping experience.
Fans now have the ability to preview a customized jersey on their computer screens, complete with their name and number. And customers will be able to use their Facebook and Twitter accounts to tell their friends about all their favorite Jets Shop items.
In addition, for all of the New York Jets' friends on Facebook, they've launched a new partnership with Milyoni, the leading social-entertainment platform (pronounced "million-eye"), that enables fans to shop without leaving their Facebook page.
"Milyoni is proud to work with the Jets," said John Corpus, CEO of Milyoni, "and to be able to provide one of the most passionate fan bases in the NFL with an opportunity to conveniently get their favorite gear from the convenience of Facebook."
In conjunction with this new partnership — the first between an NFL team and Milyoni — Jets Shop will be reaching out to its Facebook friends with special offers.
Then there's a new Jets Shop mobile site that is now being developed and will be in place by the start of training camp that will optimize the shopping experience for the fans using the site.
In addition, April will be an exciting time as Jets Shop delivers the first of the new sideline products from Nike and New Era. The Nike apparel and New Era hats will launch on April 1. The new Nike jerseys will be available for pre-order in mid-April for delivery on April 26 and will also be available at Jets Shop Manhattan on April 26. JetsShop.com will be planning exciting events around this launch.
