Football meets fashion — that's the idea the NFL is trying to promote with the help of some of the game's most familiar faces.

Which bring us to Mr. GQ himself, Eric Decker. The veteran wide receiver recently served as a brand ambassador and face of the team for the NFL Men's Lifestyle Campaign photo shoot in New York City. The campaign, which will be showcased in Sports Illustrated, *GQ *and *Complex *magazine, pushes boundaries of what stereotypical fan apparel should look like.

"We are showing that NFL apparel isn't solely for gameday anymore," said NFL stylist Jace Lipstein. "It shows how we can incorporate luxury fashion, accompany it with NFL apparel, and have it transition into all walks of life."

Decker, who has his own flare for fashion, was an ideal fit for the job.

"Eric, as a person, is a great representation for the NFL.  And as far as clothing, he is definitely going to wear the clothes well," Lipstein said. "In our opinion, he represents New York and the NFL to the utmost."

The Minnesota native, surrounded by a team of stylists and photographers, hit the NYC streets sporting a few different Jets' looks.

"Wearing some cool clothes that I'm comfortable in, that's what it's all about," said Decker. "This is something I would wear every day. It doesn't look like you're going to a game. It just looks like you are going out in everyday life, so it's pretty neat."

The clothing line, which launches in July, is designed to show fans that NFL apparel is great to wear seven days a week — not just on gameday.

"You can mix Jets apparel with your favorite leather jacket, your favorite pair of jeans, under a suit, and wear it in different settings," said Senior Director, Fan Commerce Chris Pierce.

So what does everyday style consist of for an NFL superstar from the Midwest?

"I'm kind of across the board," Decker said. "I love wearing European-cut suits. I love just wearing a T-shirt and jeans and then in the summer time it's sandals and shorts, so I'm all over the board."

All pieces will be available for purchase online @jetsshop.com/lifestyle.

So let's take a "Look" at some of Deck's Looks
