CB LeQuan Lewis Joins Secondary

The New York Jets have signed cornerback LeQuan Lewis. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

He signed with Oakland on May 14 as a free agent prior to being waived by the Raiders on June 21. In two seasons at Arizona State, Lewis recorded 26 tackles, one interception and a 25.0-yard kickoff return average. He had 23 of those tackles, the interception, a 28.5-yard kickoff return average and a blocked kick as a Sun Devils senior in 2010.
