
After a thrilling 39-38 win over Cincinnati in Week 8, the Jets have reached their Week 9 bye. As the team gets some rest and shifts its focus to a Week 10 home matchup against the Browns, here is a look at the players who have received the highest grades from Pro Football Focus (min. 300 snaps) through the first 8 games of the season.
DL Quinnen Williams -- 79.7
Williams has consistently ranked among the best on the team over the last three seasons, and he has received the Jets' highest grade through the first 8 weeks of 2025. His overall grade ranks eighth among interior defenders in the league, while his 90.8 run defense grade ranks first. Williams, who leads the Jets with 7 TFLs, has also recorded 3 QB hits and a sack. He has earned single-game grades of 90-plus twice, in Weeks 1 and 4.
CB Brandon Stephens -- 73.1
Stephens, who has played the most defensive snaps on the team (510/99.8%), has been playing at an especially high level since Week 4. His 82.2 grade across the last four 4 games ranks No. 1 among cornerbacks who have played at least 80% of snaps in that span. Stephens has recorded 6 pass defenses and 3 TFLs, and his 40 tackles are the third most on the team.
"I feel like I've been playing my style of football all year," Stephens said Tuesday. "There are some plays that I wish I had back early in the season, just finishing on the ball, but I feel like overall I've been in a great position when the ball is thrown. Obviously, I've got to continue that."
WR Garrett Wilson -- 72.8
Wilson has missed the last two games with a knee injury, but his production over the first 6 games of the season earned him a grade of 72.8. Wilson leads the Jets with 36 receptions for 395 receiving yards and 4 TDs. Heading into Week 7, his receptions ranked ninth in the NFL, while his receiving yards and receiving TDs were tied for the sixth most in the league. Wilson played 89.6% percent of offensive snaps across the first 6 games and led the Jets in receiving yards in each of the first 5 games.

RT Armand Membou -- 72.6
The Jets' first-round draft selection in 2025 has seamlessly stepped into a starting role on the O-line, playing 514-of-515 snaps this season. Membou had an impressive performance in his pro debut, earning a 89.0 grade, which is his highest single-game grade this season and ranked first among offensive tackles that week.
RB Breece Hall -- 72.1
Hall leads the Jets with 581 rushing yards, which ranks sixth in the NFL, while his scrimmage yards (759) rank seventh. Hall, who has played 311 offensive snaps, received his highest grade in Week 1 (81.5). He rushed for 2 scores in the final quarter of the Jets' Week 8 win and also threw the game-tying winning touchdown pass before Nick Folk nailed the winning point on the PAT.
Other Standouts
Despite a smaller sample size, CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and DL Jowon Briggs have earned grades that rank towards the top of the Jets' defense. Brownlee, who joined the Jets in Week 3, has received a grade of 75.0 over 136 snaps. Brownlee was the third-highest graded CB in the NFL in Week 6 (90.4). Briggs, who has played 189 snaps and recorded 2 sacks this season, has earned a grade of 73.7. ... RB Isaiah Davis has received a grade of 69.5 across 158 snaps, and his 79.7 grade in Week 8 was the highest among Jets' offensive players. He rushed for a career-high 65 yards in the win.
