Aaron McLaurin, Kavan Latham Join Jets Strength Staff

We have added assistant strength and conditioning coach Aaron McLaurin and strength and conditioning intern Kavan Latham to head coach Rex Ryan's staff.

"We're excited to have Aaron and Kavan joining our staff," said head strength and conditioning coach Justus Galac. "They both will be great additions to the New York Jets."

McLaurin comes to the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center from the Minnesota Vikings, where he was assistant coach in 2012-13, and before that from Colgate University, where he was an assistant in 2011-12. He started his coaching career at Michigan State, where he was a graduate assistant in '08-09 and an intern in '10.

Latham's career hasn't strayed far from I-95 and the Garden State. He was a four-year player and then a two-year coach at The College of New Jersey from 2007-12. He also interned the past three seasons — at Rutgers in '11, at St. Joseph's College and Temple University in '12, and with the Washington Redskins last season.
