General Manager Joe Douglas Recaps a Busy Offseason for the Jets on Flight 2021

The Jets offseason takes off with the search for a new head coach. With 10 draft picks in the fold and significant salary cap space, the staff embarks on a pivotal offseason under the leadership of third-year General Manager, Joe Douglas.

Owning the number two pick in a deep quarterback class, evaluations of the top prospects reach a crucial step with a college pro day tour. As Robert Saleh and his staff get settled into their new home, the transformation of the roster begins with the start of free agency.

The Jets must decide on which quarterback to select as the clock begins to wind in round 1 of the NFL Draft. The staff also has eyes on one of the top offensive lineman in the Draft, but must make a big move to land him.

With two new offensive pieces in the fold, Mike Lafleur and the Jets look to add more firepower as the NFL Draft rolls on. With new leadership and a new identity, the team sets their sights on the 2021 regular season.
