Snap Count Analysis | Which Jets Played the Most Snaps in Loss to Seahawks?

Six on Offense, Three on Defense Log Most Playing Time

The Jets (7-9) lost to the Seahawks (8-8), 23-6, in Seattle on Sunday. Here's a look at the snap count and how playing time was distributed.

OFFENSE
Six players played all 70 snaps – QB Mike White, LG Laken Tomlinson, C Connor McGovern, RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, RT George Fant and WR Garrett Wilson. LT Duane Brown 60 (86%) and WR Corey Davis 59 (84%) were the only others to play more than 80% of the snaps. T Cedric Ogbuehi 10 (14%) spelled Brown.

TE Tyler Conklin 43 (61%) led the offense with 6 receptions for 80 yards. TE C.J. Uzomah 39 (56%) had 3 receptions for 24 yards and TE Kenny Yeboah 2 (3%) was the only other tight end to see action.

Corey Davis 59 (84%) led the wideouts with 3 receptions for 45 yards. Elijah Moore 49 (70%), Denzel Mims 22 (16%) and Braxton Berrios 9 (13%) rounded out the receiver group.

The Jets ran for 75 yards – their highest total since Week 14 – led by RB Ty Johnson 33 (47%) with 8 carries for 46 yards. Rookie RB Zonovan Knight 15 (21%) ran the ball 8 times for 27 yards and Michael Carter 20 (29%) had 1 attempt for 2 yards.

DEFENSE
Three players took all 72 snaps – CB Sauce Gardner, CB D.J. Reed and S Jordan Whitehead. S Lamarcus Joyner 12 (17%) reaggravated a hip injury in the first quarter, which kept him out of the past two games, and was replaced by S Tony Adams 60 (83%). LB Quincy Williams 68 (94%) and LB C.J. Mosley 66 (92%) were the only others to play at least 60 snaps.

The Jets pass rush registered 3 sacks in the second quarter. DL Carl Lawson 38 (53%) and DL John Franklin-Myers 35 (49%) each had 1, and DL Micheal Clemons 34 (47%) and DL Solomon Thomas 27 (38%) split a QB takedown.

In total, 9 defensive linemen saw action, including Quinnen Williams 49 (68%), Jermaine Johnson 36 (50%), Sheldon Rankins 32 (44%), Nathan Shepherd 30 (42%) and Bryce Huff 7 (10%).

Besides Mosley and Williams, at linebacker Kwon Alexander 25 (35%), Jamien Sherwood 6 (8%) and Hamsah Nasirildeen 4 (6%) took snaps. Nickel Michael Carter 49 (64%) and S Ashtyn Davis 1 (1%) rounded out the defense.

SPECIAL TEAMS
K Greg Zuerlein connected on two field-goal attempts from 44 yards and missed a 57-yard attempt. P Braden Mann punted 3 times for an average of 43.3 yards and landed 1 attempt inside the 20-yard line. WR Braxton Berrios returned 2 punts for 8 yards and 2 kickoffs for 51 yards.

CB Bryce Hall 21 (84%), CB Justin Hardee 20 (80%), Davis 20 (80%) and Yeboah 17 (68%) led the kickoff and punt coverage units.
