Through 8 games of the season, every member of the Jets' 2025 draft class has taken the field for the Green & White. Six of the seven selections have started a game, and all seven members of the class have participated on special teams, even if in a limited capacity. Before the Week 9 bye, OL Armand Membou had the heaviest workload on offense, while DB Malachi Moore led the class on defense.
Here is a breakdown of the playing time for each Jets rookie.
OT Armand Membou
The first-round draft selection out of Missouri has quickly established himself as an integral member of the Green & White's offensive line. Armand Membou led the Jets' rookie class before the bye, playing 514-of-515 offensive snaps through 8 games. He missed a single snap in Week 4 against the Dolphins. He has also pitched in on special teams, playing 28 snaps (12%).
TE Mason Taylor
The second-round draft selection out of LSU has flashed potential as an offensive weapon, and he recorded his first pro TD reception in Week 8. Mason Taylor has played 428 offensive snaps (83.1%) and 3 special teams snaps (1.3%). His heaviest workload was in Week 6 against the Broncos, when he played 96.5% of offensive snaps (55).
CB Azareye'h Thomas
The Jets' third-round draft selection out of Florida State stepped into a starting role in Week 8 when CB Sauce Gardner was sidelined with a concussion. Azareye'h Thomas played every defensive snap in the matchup (59). It marked the fourth time this season that Thomas, who has played 101 defensive snaps (19.8%), has seen action. He has also played 94 snaps (41.0%) on special teams.
WR Arian Smith
The first of two fourth-round selections has seen offensive action in all 8 games. After playing just 6 offensive snaps (9.4%) in Week 1, Arian Smith has played at least 40 percent of offensive snaps in every other contest. He played the most in Week 7 (56/91.8%), and he has played 277 snaps (53.8%) overall. The Georgia product has also contributed on special teams (27/11.9%).
DB Malachi Moore
The No. 130 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Alabama has played the most defensive snaps among Jets rookies this season (336/65.8%). Malachi Moore has started 4 games for the Green & White and played every defensive snap in each of them. His first start was in Week 3, and he has started the last three games. Moore has also taken on a steady workload on special teams (90/39.6%).
LB Kiko Mauigoa
The Jets' first fifth-round selection primarily played a role on special teams in the first 2 games of the season, a combined 51 snaps. But when LB Quincy Williams sustained an injury during Week 3 at Tampa Bay, Kiko Mauigoa assumed a larger role on defense, starting the next 4 consecutive games in his place. Mauigoa also started alongside Williams in his return from IR in Week 8. The Miami product has played 265 defensive snaps (51.9%), and his 127 snaps on special teams (55.9%) are the most among the draft class.

His biggest workload was in Week 5 against the Cowboys, when he played 25 defensive snaps (41.7%) and 12 special teams snaps (40.0%).
LBs Ja'Markis Weston & Kobe King
Undrafted free agent Ja’Markis Weston signed with the Jets in May and spent the summer with the team. The Florida product was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return on Aug. 26, and he was activated ahead of Week 7. Weston has been a contributor on special teams for his first two games as a Jet, playing 35 snaps (66.0%).
The Jets claimed LB Kobe King, a sixth-round selection of the Minnesota Vikings, ahead of Week 8. The Penn State product, who appeared in six games for Minnesota largely as a special teams' contributor, was inactive for the Jets' game in Cincinnati.
