The New York Jets have signed WR Patrick Turner to the practice squad. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Turner (6'5", 220) was initially claimed off of waivers by the Jets last Sunday and was waived Tuesday. He was drafted in the third round by Miami in 2009 after finishing with 138 receptions for 1,752 yards and 17 touchdowns in his four seasons at Southern Cal. Last season he appeared in two games on special teams for the Dolphins.
