SNY and the New York Jets today announced they have extended their comprehensive television and marketing partnership. This enhanced extension, a multiyear agreement, will include deeper access and exclusive year-round coverage of Jets players, coaches and front office executives. In addition, SNY will have the right to distribute content via SNY.tv (subject to NFL guidelines).

SNY's deeper New York Jets coverage kicks off with the 2009 NFL Draft on Saturday, April 25, at 11:30 a.m. The network's coverage — titled "Jets Nation: Draft Day 09" — will feature unprecedented draft room access, player profiles and live interviews. General manager Mike Tannenbaum and head coach Rex Ryan will contribute live from the Jets draft room in Florham Park, N.J.

SNY's Jets draft coverage will be headquartered from the network's street-level studio — located directly across the street from Radio City Music Hall, site of the 2009 NFL Draft. In addition to the live interviews, SNY's two-day Jets draft coverage will feature multiple in-studio guests, including NFL.com senior analyst Pat Kirwan, Jets 2007 team MVP Leon Washington and Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery. SNY's coverage will also showcase in-depth analysis from former Jets Ray Lucas and Greg Buttle along with NFL insider Adam Schein, Jets reporter Steve Overmyer and host Brian Custer.

As part of the overall enhanced partnership, SNY will continue to air the critically acclaimed Jets Post Game Live show – which will now feature a new on-field Q&A with a key Jets player immediately following each game. SNY will have priority access to the locker room, including Ryan's closed-door address to the team. Following Ryan's weekly news conferences, SNY will provide viewers with live exclusive interviews with the head coach.

Other programming will include:

*  a revamped Jets Nation, an off-season weekly program that provides fans an inside look at Jets players, coaches and team personnel

*  Jets Extra Point, a weekly show that dissects the previous week's game, and

*  Jets Game Plan, which replaces 1st and Goal. Jets Game Plan will focus primarily on previewing the upcoming game.

"In just three years, SNY has cultivated a tremendous following among millions of fans who know it's the place to go for all things Jets," said Matt Higgins, Jets executive vice president of business operations. "Now SNY will pull back the curtain even more to take fans deeper into Jets nation than they have ever gone before, starting with the draft. We look forward to working with SNY to create the content our fans want and have come to expect from the year-round home of the Jets."

"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with the New York Jets," said Steve Raab, president of SNY. "The Jets have been a cornerstone of SNY's programming since the network's launch, and we're excited that together we continue to find new ways to take our viewers further behind the scenes and closer to the action."

SNY, which launched in 2006, is the official television home of the New York Jets and Mets and the Big East Conference.

As the TV of the New York Jets, the network delivers over 250 hours of year-round, exclusive, in-depth Jets content. SNY also features unparalleled access to the New York Mets with more than 120 live telecasts each season — all produced in HD — as well as other Emmy Award-winning Mets entertainment programming. In addition, in July 2008, SNY became the official TV home of the Big East, airing more than 125 conference football and basketball games as well as other Big East programming.

As New York's leader in local sports coverage, SNY delivers the most comprehensive access to all of the tristate area's professional and collegiate sports teams through five nightly sports and entertainment programs — broadcast in state-of-the-art HD — from the network's street-level studio in the heart of Manhattan. SNY's programming roster also includes classic sports programming, critically acclaimed original entertainment shows and exclusive interview and magazine programs.

Founded by Sterling Entertainment Enterprises, Time Warner and Comcast, SNY is available to viewers throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and northeastern Pennsylvania and nationally on DIRECTV, Dish Network and AT&T U-Verse. For additional details on the network, visit www.sny.tv.
