Giacomini started all three postseason contests for the 'Hawks in 2012 including the team's 43-8 Super Bowl XLVIII triumph over the Denver Broncos.

After signing with the Jets on March 13, 2014, Giacomini helped block for the NFL's third-best rushing offense while starting all 16 games for the first time in his career. Then in 2015, Giacomini was part of an offense that established a new franchise mark for total yards (5,896).

The 6'7", 318-pound Giacomini was on the team's reserve/PUP list for the first seven games of the regular season with a back injury. He then made five starts but re-injured his back in a Week 13 contest against the Colts.
