The Jets have released DB Blake Countess.

Countess signed with the Green & White in October and he was active for six games. Prior to joining the Jets, the fifth-year pro totaled 54 tackles, three pass defenses, two interceptions and one sack in 37 games for the Los Angeles Rams from 2016-18. Originally an Eagles' sixth-round draft pick in 2016, Countess, who played collegiately at both Michigan and Auburn, was claimed off of waivers by Philadelphia last May and was waived Aug. 13.
