Jets linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis officially returned from his one-game NFL suspension and the team waived offensive lineman Ben Braden.

Pierre-Louis was sidelined for the majority of training camp with an undisclosed injury and missed all four preseason games. The fifth-year veteran signed with the Green & White in March after spending last year with the Chiefs, where he played in 14 games and recorded 41 tackles. Originally a fourth-round pick by the Seahawks, the Boston College product spent three years in Seattle and tallied 43 tackles in 34 games.

Braden spent 2017 on the Jets practice squad after spending the summer with the club as an undrafted free agent. This year the Michigan product made the final 53-man roster but was inactive for Week 1 against the Lions.
